Total Extinction

In the last few months I've been dedicating a lot of my time to sculpting figures for Total Extinction.
Total Extinction is a new scifi miniature wargame. You can check out their kickstarter campaign page here:

Up to now I have made more than 10 figures for the guys that are publishing the game (Sentinel Games)
I made all the Glorlon Army, and most part of the Union of Colonies Army. These are the two first factions being released, there will be more of them coming.

Mother of Dragons, remake after a year and a half

I wanted to give a second try and see how much I could better myself on remaking a drawing that I made a year and a half before.

Between one on the other theres a lot of hours of sculpting most of all, but also nearly daily sketchings (even if its only for a few minutes), 8 months of oil painting 5 hours a week, and lots of hours of study of anatomy, human and animal, cloth, etc...

It's not finished yet, but I think all that hard training was worth the effort. I've been doing some other sketches, I really should spend more time painting, I think. If I get to do something nice I'll let you know.

I recently updated the package with a new model, so now its one more model for the same price :D

I plan to be adding some more as soon as I have time to finish them!  A family car, a van and a pickup truck.

Some of my models in Sketchfab!

I got an account in Sketchfab, this great site where you can upload your 3d models for everyone to see. I put four models there for everyone to see, its very likely that from now on, every miniature series that I make will have at least a representative painted and uploaded there!

Only the first one is actually low poly, 2k polycount as it was a requirement. The other three models are previsualizations of an actual real painted toy figure for Impact Miniatures, I gave them a much higher polycount.

Chibi Asian Adventurers for Impact Miniatures

Hi everyone! I made this figures over the last year for Impact Miniatures. The Kickstarter campaign to get the project founded has just started! I sculpted 29 chibis so far. I used Zbrush for everything.

The figures are 30-50mm high. To present the project I composed this video showing some of the figures in color. I painted them trying to imitate miniature painting techniques, airbrush painting, drybrushing and washes :D

I hope we get enough money to make much more figures in this series!

This is not over! In the next month Impact! Miniatures will be starting a new campaign in Kickstarter with lots of new chibi figures, this time based in traditional asian myths and characters. I already made a lot of figures for this new campaign, I wish I can make a lot more!
